We decided to use this recreation time to make a difference in our community and create an enjoyable fundraising event.
With the support of friends, family, and businesses, the Hawaiian Classic has donated to various nonprofit charities in the Denver Metro area. Our hope is to have the Hawaiian Classic fundraising model branch out to other locations, and to make
a difference in all of our communities.
It's pretty simple.
Here's how we do it at Longshots:
$10 donation per player per tournament.
The owners of Longshots Bar & Grill match the money raised at Longshots quarterly and we donate everything to charity.
There is no payout to any of the players.
100% of the money raised is donated to charity.
So far, The Hawaiian Classic Tournament has raised over $57,000 for local charities.

The Hawaiian Classic
The Hawaiian Classic 8 Ball Charity Tournament was founded in 2020 by a group of friends who play pool together at Longshots Bar and Grill at 44th and Ward Road in Wheatridge, Colorado the first and third Monday of every month.
